Decorate with Local Treasures

Sea shells and beach rocks have intrigued beachcombers for decades. Turn your summer beach finds into stylish decor. When decorating your home with the beautiful treasures of the sea, think of different ways to display Neptune's bounty.

Jars of Shells. If your collection is large, fill old mason jars with the same kinds of rocks, shells, sand dollars or starfish.

Pretty Pavers. Place small bits of shell into round concrete stepping stones for your garden or create a mosaic mirror using lots of different shells. Choose a unique piece of sea glass to hang in a window it will act like a prism.
